New Enrolments

We welcome enquiries about enrolling at our school. School tours are available, starting at the front office. Your child is welcome to come with you. Please call the office on 9983 9455 between 8:45am and 3:30pm for further enquiries and school tour bookings.

If you are enrolling your child at school for the first time, you will need to complete an application to enrol in a NSW Government school. The form is available from the office, or you can download the PDF here and bring it with you to the office.

When enrolling your child(ren) at the school office please bring:

  • your child's birth certificate or identity documents
  • proof of student's address (originals of different documents such as your council rates notice or residential lease and electricity bill)
  • immunisation history statement based on the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR)
  • family law or other relevant court orders (if applicable)

Kindergarten Enrolments

Children who have turned five, or who will be turning five by the end of July in the year they wish to enrol are eligible for enrolment. By law, all children must start school by their sixth birthday. When to start your child at school is an individual decision. Please feel free to make an appointment with us to talk about ‘school readiness’ if your child turns 5 in June/July. Please ensure your child has been immunised before entering Kindergarten. You will need to bring the items listed in ‘New Enrolments’ when you enrol your child(ren).

Enrolment Transfers

Enquiries about transferring students from other schools are also welcomed. However if the student does not reside within the school's drawing area, transfer is only possible if a place is available in the requested grade. Proof of address and the child's birth certificate or passport are required. Students enrolling from overseas require passports with accredited visas, immunisation certificate and proof of address.

If your child is not a permanent resident you will need to bring the following as well as items listed in ‘New Enrolments’:

  • passport or travel documents
  • current visa and previous visas (if applicable)

If your child has a temporary visa or visitor visa you will first need to apply to enrol by contacting the temporary residents program.

Best Start

The Best Start Assessment is a tool used in all NSW Government schools to help teachers assess your child's skills as they enter school, and to tailor teaching to their individual needs. Teachers will sit with your child when they start school to assess literacy and numeracy skills. For a parent’s guide to this please visit this website.

Best Start for 2019 Kindergarten students:

Dates to be confirmed - end of January 2019 by appointment.
